New Excursions in Cartagena and Bogota

This is a full day activity in Montes de María, a rural region in the outskirts of Cartagena.

At the arrival you will be able to contemplate the nature of the Maco hill with a hike, you will use the traditional vehicle of the area for a short trip, you will visit a farm with coffee plantations, you will taste the local gastronomy and you will visit a workshop where the traditional hammocks and backpacks of San Jacinto are woven. In other words, you will experience the natural space and the culture of a population that is committed to life, art, culture and positive thinking.

Mountain Bike Tour on Tierra Bomba Island (Cartagena) - direct link to Latinconnect

A sport day in Cartagena is healthy and funny as long as we protect ourselves from the sun! This full day tour offers us the opportunity to ride our bikes around Tierra Bomba, an island located very close to the mainland in front of Cartagena Bay.

We will start early in the morning, take a 15 minute boat ride to the island and ride for 3 hours on different trails including the seashore. At the end we will receive some food to recharge energies and we will enjoy the sea before our boat takes us back to Cartagena.

Learn about the impressive history of a group of locals from the Egipto neighborhood in Bogotá. Deciding to leave their criminal past behind they have started the initiative Breaking Borders, showing tourists around their streets filled with artwork that tells the neighborhood’s history. In this way, tourism has formed a real alternative for their personal and professional development and opened the doors for a brighter future.
