Welcome to our FAQ page! Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our products and services. Our goal is to provide you with the information you need quickly and easily. If your question is not answered here, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

Who is Latinconnect for?

Latinconnect is aimed at tour operators, tour-operating travel agencies and mobile travel consultants. The online platform, combined with personal service directly from the destination, offers travel professionals the flexibility and product depth required to operate successfully and competitively in the tailor-made travel segment. We do not offer direct sales to end customers.

On our platform you will find a very broad selection of individual services such as hotels, excursions, rental cars and transfers, as well as packages like private round trips, group tours and self-drive tours from every destination. Detailed descriptions in German, English and Spanish, HD photos, videos and maps support the creation of tailor-made offers with just a few clicks. You can generate a PDF catalogue page for each product featuring your company logo.

  • Creation of customised product manuals in PDF format.
  • Creation of PDF catalogue pages for each product, branded with your logo.
  • Travel planner with quotation function to create customised offers in PDF format.
  • Configuration of your personal calculation settings and exchange rates.
  • Creation of user accounts subordinate to the main user (e.g. branches or mobile travel consultants).

Latinconnect works with net prices and invoices in US dollars (with the exception of Cuba, which is invoiced in EUR). As a distribution partner, you decide via the user settings how much margin you add to the net prices and at which exchange rate you convert into your local currency. Various pricing models are available, depending on sales volume.

Currently, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, and Chile are available online. The offering is continuously being expanded.

Click on “Register” and complete the registration form. Your details will then be centrally reviewed by Latinconnect, and each DMC partner agency must subsequently decide whether to grant you access to its database. It may happen that we have some follow-up questions along the way, which we’d be happy to discuss with you. This process takes 2–3 days, and we kindly ask for your understanding. You will then receive your personal login details for Latinconnect.

Via the online marketplace Latinconnect, you purchase services directly from the DMC partner agency based in the destination, where European legislation does not apply. You therefore act as the tour operator vis-à-vis your customers and are responsible for complying with the package travel regulations in your country. This applies in particular to tour operator liability and customer fund protection.

Interfaces to proprietary tour operator systems are possible for high-volume clients. Please contact us if you are interested.

Latinconnect works exclusively with one agency per destination. Please get in touch with us if your destination is not yet represented in our network.

If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one to be sent to the email address linked to your Latinconnect account (usually your username).

  1. On the “Login” form, click on “Forgot password?”
  2. Enter your email address and click Submit.
  3. Your new password will be sent immediately to your email address.
