Who we are

Latinconnect is a network of experienced and carefully selected incoming agencies (DMCs) from across Latin America. Together, we combine our know-how, local roots and commitment to quality – enabling tour operators to rely on trusted partners and tailor-made programmes for individual and group travel. Personal, professional and close to the action. From Mexico to Patagonia – Latinconnect stands for DMC expertise from a single source.

What sets us apart
Latinconnect combines in-depth destination and product knowledge directly from the countries themselves. Our DMCs provide up-to-date travel materials, multilingual support and a flexibly combinable portfolio – from classic round trips to specialised niche programmes. Sustainability is a key component, supported by certifications such as CST and structured programmes within our partners. Thanks to close collaboration within the network, our partners benefit from efficient, cross-country processes and centrally available content on Latinconnect. A strong service commitment with personalised support, 24/7 availability and multilingual communication in German, Spanish, English and French ensures consistently high customer satisfaction.

One continent. One network. One goal: reliable partners from Latin America & the Caribbean – for the world.

Our mission

We connect Latin America with the international travel market – personally, efficiently and digitally, through our platform and on equal footing. Latinconnect strengthens the visibility of independent DMCs and supports them through joint marketing, synergies and knowledge transfer. Our partners benefit from a strong network that places quality, fairness and local expertise at its core. We create trust – for our members as well as for tour operators worldwide.

Our vision

Latinconnect represents a Latin American DMC network that grows organically, with commitment and a focus on sustainable quality. Our goal is to become the leading alliance of owner-managed DMCs in Latin America: reliable, authentic, visible and digitally at the forefront. For our partners, we are a platform, a voice and a source of ideas. For the travel industry, we are a seal of quality for inspiring programmes and excellent execution. Together, we showcase how diverse, responsible and vibrant Latin America truly is.

The latest from the world of Latinconnect

Casa de la Cultura Tortuguero

Where is the music coming from? In Tortuguero, Costa Rica, music can be heard in a very special place: the Casa de la Cultura. Here, a small ensemble of dedicated students rehearses with great passion, keeping traditional Costa Rican Calypso alive while giving it fresh energy. But music is only one part of the rich cultural heritage of our Caribbean coast. To help preserve these treasures and make them more visible, the AKP Foundation of the Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group will now take the lead in supporting this inspiring cultural project. ARA Tours is, of course, delighted to join the initiative. Following initial improvements to the infrastructure, a small museum is scheduled to open at the beginning of next year. It will be possible to visit the museum as part of guided village walks. Initially, the experience will be aimed at small groups and guests travelling with a guide, and later also at independent travellers. We warmly invite you to support this musical project together with us and to include a visit in your travel programmes. In this way, we create meaningful and sustainable encounters, strengthen the local village community and give Tortuguero’s culture the stage it deserves.

Interview mit Lena Bartelt (Neptuno Colombia Travel)

The Latinconnect DMCs are using the current low season to further advance sustainability within their offices, contracts, products and customer communications. Local suppliers play a particularly important role in this process. How can they be successfully brought on board, and how can their commitment to sustainability be measured and encouraged so that suitable products can be recommended? To find out, we spoke with Lena Bartelt, Sustainability Manager at Neptuno Colombia Travel.

Infos zur neuen Latinconnect Plattform

About a month ago, we launched the redesigned Latinconnect website. We would like to sincerely thank you for the many positive, as well as critical, comments we have received. As is often the case when introducing such a complex system, not everything ran smoothly at the beginning. Over the past few weeks, our team has been working intensively to resolve the reported issues and will continue to treat the correction of any remaining errors as a top priority.
