Seat-in Trip “Highlights of Colombia”

Camila Gaviria (Head of Incoming Department of Promotora Neptuno) invites your guests to the 15-day seat-in tour "Colombia Authentic".

The charming, authentic accommodations are centrally located in Bogotá or Cartagena, just a few metres from Plaza Mayor in the village of Villa de Leyva, or set amid lush greenery in the Coffee Region. They can be booked in two categories (Standard and Deluxe). Our experienced guides share their knowledge with great passion and dedication. Each local guide has a different personal connection to the country and will convey not only facts, but above all the cultural character of each region.

We have fine-tuned this tour and introduced a few small changes for 2024. The 2024 travel dates are now aligned with the flight schedule of Edelweiss, which flies from Zurich to Bogotá and returns directly from Cartagena to Zurich (Monday–Sunday). Another great reason to book this excellent tour with outstanding value for money!

What else is new for 2024?

• The pre-programme for guests arriving on Saturday is shortened by one night.
• The tour now starts on Sundays (instead of Mondays).
• 11-day Highlights Tour: The tour is shortened by one day. There are now 2 nights in Cartagena (instead of 3), meaning the free day in Cartagena is no longer included. However, guests can still book the optional Rosario Islands excursion and be transferred directly from the harbour to the airport (only possible for flights departing after 18:00). Luggage will be stored at the hotel and collected there.
• The seat-in trip now ends on Wednesday in Cartagena. As before, a multi-day beach extension can be added afterwards.
• The Bogotá city tour now takes place on a Monday. Since the Gold Museum is closed on Mondays, the tour will include the Botero Museum instead. The Gold Museum visit will take place on Tuesday morning before travelling to Villa de Leyva.
