In January 2020, Clemens Danninger (photo above) founded the incoming agency ARA Tours Nicaragua together with ARA Tours Costa Rica. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the company could not be activated until now. This is now to change, but under the new name Veranera Tours.
ARA Tours Costa Rica withdraws from the engagement and Clemens Danninger takes over the company together with private investors. The reconstruction will take place step by step. As of now, the Veranera Tours office in Managua is accepting inquiries and bookings for group tours, as well as specific ad hoc inquiries for individual tours. Catalog programs for FITs can be offered again from 2024 on.
Veranera Tours will not become a member of the Latinconnect group for the time being, but will be the partner agency for all country combinations in Nicaragua. Country combinations can still be requested and booked through ARA Tours Costa Rica. In this case, Nicaragua sales count for the Latinconnect bonus and are billed through ARA Tours Costa Rica. Pure Nicaragua programs must be booked directly with Veranera Tours. In this case the sales do not count for the Latinconnect bonus.
